I am a Montana-based writer, editor, and marketing consultant. My latest book, In the Brewing Luminous: The Life & Music of Cecil Taylor, is available everywhere now. I’ve edited magazines, newspapers, websites and an anthology of music criticism, and published hundreds of articles in print and online. I am also the co-founder of Burning Ambulance, which consists of an email newsletter (nearly 5000 subscribers and growing!), a website, and a record label.
